    Shelter Dog Sunday - Prince

NewsShelter Dog SundayFriday 02 December 2016

Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Prince, an affectionate, young Staffie looking for a loving family to guide him through adulthood.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats a year, including Prince, a playful young lad looking for a loving, forever home.

    Name: Prince

    Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier

    Sex: Male

    Age: 1 year 5 months

    Centre: London; Reference: 353578

Meet Prince – a fantastic young Staffie who is very playful and affectionate.

Prince's favourite game is fetch and he could run forever if you let him.

He is great with other dogs and could possibly live with a female role model who can show him the ropes and not be overwhelmed by his playfulness.

A confident cat would also be a good match for this boy.

Prince has good experience with children and will make a wonderful first dog for less experienced owners.

To meet our Prince of Play, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.

If you want to adopt a rescue dog like Prince, please check out our shelter directory for rescues near you!
