Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Queen, a stunning Staffie who has everything to bring tons of happiness to her forever family.

Battersea Dogs and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Queen, an affectionate girl in need of a well deserved forever family.

    Name: Queen

    Breed: Staff Bull Terrier

    Sex: Female

    Age: 7 years 7 months

    Site: London

    Reference: 359534

All hail Queen, one of the most beautiful Staffie’s in all the land!

She’s a very affectionate girl who loves attention and a belly rub. Although she can be shy at first, she quickly warms up to everyone she meets.

Her absolute favourite thing is to snuggle up with a blanket and get cuddles from her favourite people.

Queen is looking for a calm home with access to a garden. She would benefit from living in a quiet area with quiet walking routes.

Although she hasn’t lived with children before, she would suit a family of calm and affectionate children who are used to playing with bigger dogs.

To meet Queen, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.

If you want to adopt a rescue dog like Queen, please check out our shelter directory for rescues near you!
