    Shelter Dog Sunday - Rosie

Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Rosie, a beautiful three-legged angel who will be really happy to spend her life cuddled with to her family on the sofa.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of  but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Rosie, a young Staffie with a heart of gold now looking for a forever loving family.

    Name: Rosie

    Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier

    Sex: Female

    Age: 2 years 1 month

    Centre: London

    Reference: 358407

Three-legged Rosie doesn’t let anything get her down. She’s an optimistic soul who loves to play and show off her impressive fetch and drop skills.

Rosie is also always happy to learn new tricks, especially when there is a tasty reward on offer.

Rosie is an excitable girl who will benefit from being the only pet in her new home and instead meet other dogs for regular playdates.

Any children in the home should be teenagers who are confident around dogs and will keep playtime calm.

To meet Rosie, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
