    Shelter Dog Sunday - Sophie

NewsShelter Dog SundayThursday 03 August 2017

Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Sophie, a stunning Staffie who has everything to bring tons of happiness to her forever family.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Sophie, a young lady in need of a well deserved forever family.

    Name: Sophie

    Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier

    Sex: Female

    Age: 1 year 7 months

    Centre: London

    Reference: 358182

Sophie is a bubbly youngster with a huge amount of potential.

She loves food, toys and is responsive to training, so promises to make a brilliant companion for her new owners who dedicate time to her training.

Sophie needs help with her socialisation with other dogs. While she can’t live with others at this stage, Sophie would really benefit from regularly meeting some friendly doggy pals.

Sophie can however live with older children who will enjoy helping with her training and playing constructive games. A private garden is required.

To meet Sophie, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
