    Shelter Dog Sunday - Spike

    NewsShelter Dog SundayFriday 26 February 2016

    Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Spike, a big softie who is looking his forever home.

    Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of  but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and a year, including Spike, a big softie looking for an experienced home.

    Name: Spike

    Sex: Male

    Breed: Doberman;

    Age: 4 Years 3 Months

    Centre: Battersea

    Reference: 343822

    Spike might have a bad boy name but he is a big softie who is looking for an experienced home.

    He is looking for confident owners who have plenty of time to dedicate to providing him with the stimulation and training he needs.

    In return Spike is the biggest lap dog you could want and he’s longing to become a part of a loving family.

    If you think you can offer Spike a home please call Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 or contact them by email at [email protected] for more information.
