    Shelter Dog Sunday - Xena

NewsShelter Dog SundayFriday 04 November 2016

Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Xena, an adorable lady looking for a forever home to spend her golden years.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats a year, including Xena, a lovely lady who loves being around people and playing with them in a loving, forever home.

    Name: Xena

    Breed: Rottweiler

    Sex: Female

    Age: 8 years 9 months

    Centre: London

    Reference: 351825

Xena is such an easy going, affectionate lady. She loves being around people and playing any games that involve tennis balls.

She is a big girl with a huge heart, and will make a loving companion to her lucky new family.

Xena has experience of being around children, and could happily live alongside teens.

She may also be able to live with a feline friend, although would prefer to spend her retirement as the only dog in her home.

If you would like to meet Xena, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
