    Shelter Dog Sunday - Zeus

Every Sunday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Zeus, a stunning Staffie puppy who is willing to share his heart with a forever family.

Battersea Dogs and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Zeus, a very young boy who deserves to grow up surrounded by a loving family.

    Name: Zeus

    Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier

    Sex: Male

    Age: 4 months

    Centre: London

    Reference: 360082

Zeus is a true Olympic god that has been put in a little Staffordshire Bull Terrier’s body!

He’s loving, fun and energetic puppy who is looking for a new home.

Zeus likes to be fussed over and have a lot of attention. He enjoys playing with toys and having a bit of a chew on treats.

Like all puppies he can become quite excited and overwhelmed so he’s looking for an owner that can manage his enthusiasm into good actions.

He would benefit from puppy school training but otherwise he just needs a friend to show him the ropes!

Zeus would be a wonderful edition to a family with kids or even with other dogs.

To meet Zeus, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.

If you want to adopt a rescue dog like Zeus, please check out our shelter directory for rescues near you!
