Every Wednesday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Badger, an adorable Cocker Spaniel who dreams of growing up with a loving family.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Badger, a lovely boy in need of a loving, forever family.

    Name: Badger

    Breed: Cocker Spaniel

    Sex: Male

    Age: 9 months

    Site: London

    Reference: 359432

Badger is a bundle of fun once he gets to know you with a love of toys and food.

He also enjoys the company of other dogs and will benefit from having a nice role model in his new home who will show him the ways of the world as he heads into adulthood.

Badger is a handsome young boy, but it’s important he isn’t rehomed based on looks alone.

He is looking for experienced, adult owners who live in a quiet area with lots of green space for exercise and training.

To meet Badger, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.

If you want to adopt a rescue dog like Badger, please check out our shelter directory for rescues near you!
