    Shelter Dog Wednesday - BooBoo

NewsShelter Dog WednesdayTuesday 25 July 2017

Every Wednesday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on BooBoo, a captivating Greyhound with lots of love to share with a forever family.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including BooBoo, a gentle girl looking for a loving, forever family.

    Name: BooBoo

    Breed: Greyhound

    Sex: Female

    Age: 2 years 6 months

    Centre: London

    Reference: 358309

BooBoo is an affectionate girl who enjoys attention.

While she can be playful, BooBoo settles well, especially when she has her favourite fluffy toys as company.

She is very much looking forward to putting her racing days behind her in a comfortable home.

BooBoo will make a wonderful family pet, although it’s best any children in the home are confident enough not to be worried by her occasional bouncy moments.

She can also live with another dog of a similar temperament.

To meet BooBoo, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
