    Shelter Dog Wednesday - Buster

Every Wednesday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Buster, a Staffie who dreams of curling up in a sofa with his loving family.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Buster a friendly boy looking for a loving, forever family.

    Name: Buster

    Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier

    Sex: Male

    Age: 3 years 3 months

    Centre: London

    Reference: 356823

Staffie fans will fall in love with Buster. This boisterous boy adores people and is eager to get out of kennels and into a home of his own.

Agility or obedience classes will be a great way to keep Buster’s busy mind working.

While Buster is very friendly, he is a bit too excitable to live with young children. Adults and older children who will encourage nice manners are best. A secure garden is also required.

To meet Buster please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.

If you want to adopt a rescue dog like Buster, please check out our shelter directory for rescues near you!
