    Shelter Dog Wednesday - Copper

NewsShelter Dog WednesdayTuesday 27 June 2017

Every Wednesday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Copper, a captivating terrier with lots of love to share with a forever family.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Copper, a lively boy looking for a loving, forever family.

    Name: Copper

    Breed: Patterdale Terrier

    Sex: Male

    Age: 2 years

    Centre: London

    Reference: 357340

Copper is a beautiful boy both inside and out. An affectionate and playful soul, he will make a great companion for terrier enthusiasts who will continue his training.

Treats will provide great motivation when teaching Copper new tricks, and he also loves toys of any kind.

While Copper can live with older children and enjoys having regular doggy play dates in the park, he will need to be the only pet in his new home.

A private garden will be required so Copper can burn off some of his excess energy.

To meet Copper, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
