Every Wednesday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Dylan, a Jack Russell willing to move in to a retirement home with a loving family.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Dylan, a senior boy who deserves a happy life with a loving, forever family.

    Name: Dylan

    Breed: Jack Russell

    Sex: Male

    Age: 11 years 8 months

    Centre: London

    Reference: 360850

Delightful Dylan is our sweet older terrier, he is finding kennel life quite stressful but has made friends along the way and is a quite companion.

This mature boy still has his terrier ways despite his age, and loves to go for long walks and is inquisitive when he's spent time in the offices.

Dylan is incredibly affectionate and will want long cuddles on your lap.

Dylan is seeking a calm retirement home where he can cuddle up on a sofa with his new favourite human.

He would be happy to live with other doggy pals and could possible live with cats too.

To meet Dylan, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.

If you want to adopt a rescue dog like Dylan, please check out our shelter directory for rescues near you!
