    Shelter Dog Wednesday - Eskie

NewsShelter Dog WednesdayTuesday 01 August 2017

Every Wednesday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Eskie who is now finding a family that makes her feel loved and secure.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Eskie, a calm, gentle lady looking for a loving, forever family.

    Name: Eskie

    Breed: Mongrel

    Sex: Female

    Age: 7 years 8 months

    Site: London

    Reference: 354101

Eskie has found herself at Battersea through no fault of her own and is an older lady of leisure, looking for the simple things in life.

A soppy old girl, who loves nothing better than a game of frisbee, nice strolls in the park and home comforts, Eskie is looking for new owners who are capable of handling her, as she is a big girl and still strong-minded in her mature years.

Eskie has some guarding breed in her and displays some of the traits so her new owners will need to have some experience with these breed types.

If this lovable goofball is your ideal dog then get in touch.

To meet Eskie, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
