Every Wednesday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Jenny, a Jack Russell willing to move in to a forever home with a loving family.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Jenny, a lively girl who deserves a happy life with a loving, forever family.

    Name: Jenny

    Breed: Jack Russell Terrier

    Sex: Female

    Age: 2 years

    Site: London

    Reference: 358686

Jenny is a real whirlwind of energy and will be the perfect fit for owners who have a particular love for terriers.

She lives for her toys and will play for hours if given the chance.

Sometimes Jenny can get a bit over excited during playtime though, so she will benefit from finding adult owners who will work on keeping her calm.

Jenny will blossom in a quiet environment, and will also need a private garden for continued training and run arounds.

She will be happiest as the only pet in the home.

To meet Jenny, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
