    Shelter Dog Wednesday - Kip

NewsShelter Dog WednesdayTuesday 30 May 2017

Every Wednesday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Kit, a charming Greyhound looking for a forever family.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Kit, a stunning ex-racer ready to rush to the sofa of a loving home!

    Name: Kip

    Breed: Greyhound

    Sex: Male

    Age: 2 years 3 months

    Centre: London

    Reference:  357183

Kip is a glass-half-full kind of boy. His sunny disposition makes him a joy to be around, and he becomes very cuddly when given attention, leaning into his favourite people for more.

He is very much looking forward to settling into home life after putting his racing days behind him.

Kip enjoys the company of other large dogs, particularly greyhounds, and would be very happy sharing his home with another.

He will need to stay on a lead while on walks, so a private garden is required.

To meet Kip, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
