    Shelter Dog Wednesday - Lewey

NewsShelter Dog WednesdayTuesday 13 June 2017

Every Wednesday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Lewey, a Jack Russell willing to move in to a retirement home with a loving family.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Lewey, an active boy who deserves a happy life with a loving, forever family.

    Name: Lewey

    Breed: Jack Russell

    Sex: Male

    Age: 8 years

    Centre: Old Windsor

    Reference: 356711

Lewey is an active boy who enjoys spending time exploring outdoors. He will also entertain himself for hours with his favourite toys, and loves to play a game of fetch with people too.

Young at heart Lewey will make a great addition for owners who have previous experience with terriers.

Lewey is looking for a home where he will be the only pet and have adults only owners who will be able to provide him with all the energy outlets he needs.

A private garden is a must for Lewey to enjoy time outside off lead.

To meet Lewey, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s Old Windsor centre on 01784 494443.
