    Shelter Dog Wednesday - Lucy

Every Wednesday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Lucy, a Jack Russell willing to move in to a forever home with a loving family.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Lucy, a sensitive girl who deserves a happy life with a loving, forever family.

    Name: Lucy

    Breed: Jack Russell Terrier

    Sex: Female

    Age: 6 years 6 months

    Centre: London

    Reference: 362556

Lovely Lucy is a sweet, friendly girl. She can be a sensitive soul and enjoys pottering along on walks minding her own business most of the time.

She does have a playful side, which we're sure will develop more as she settles into a new home.

She is looking to be an only dog to enjoy lots of love and attention from her new family.

To meet Lucy, please contact Battersea’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.

If you want to adopt a rescue dog like Lucy, please check out our shelter directory for rescues near you!
