    Shelter Dog Wednesday - Myrtle

NewsShelter Dog WednesdayTuesday 31 October 2017

Every Wednesday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Myrtle, an adorable English Springer puppy who dreams of growing up with a loving family.

Battersea Dogs and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Myrtle, a young pup in need of a loving, forever family.

    Name: Myrtle

    Breed: English Springer

    Sex: Female

    Age: 5 months

    Site: London

    Reference: 360178

Spaniel pup Myrtle can initially be quite shy, however with a bit of love she’ll become your new best friend!

It would be best if she lived with older kids as at first, she can be quite sensitive to noises and her new surroundings.

She’d be the perfect companion for walks and exploring the neighbourhood.

She’ll need owners that have experience to show her that the world isn’t as scary as it seems. Could this be you?

To meet Myrtle, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
