    Shelter Dog Wednesday - Ronnie

Every Wednesday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Ronnie, a Staffie who is having a hard time living in the city. He dreams of green fields, gardens, and a loving family.

Battersea Dogs and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Ronnie, a friendly boy looking for a loving, forever family.

    Name: Ronnie

    Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier

    Sex: Male

    Age: 1 years 0 months

    Centre: London

    Reference: 360650

Ronnie is an adorable bundle of fun. He is a loving, playful and bouncy youngster who needs some guidance and training to show him how best to behave.

Little Ronnie is also quite anxious and will need some time to settle in comfortably into his new forever home.

He loves nothing more than some company and affection!

Ronnie would be best suited to a home away from the inner city, where he can enjoy the quiet and calm.

He will also require a private garden to burn off some energy and enjoy some training sessions.

To meet Ronnie, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
