    Shelter Dog Wednesday - Ted

NewsShelter Dog WednesdayWednesday 13 September 2017

Every Wednesday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Ted, a Jack Russell willing to move in to a forever home with a loving family.

Battersea and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Ted, a lively boy who deserves a happy life with a loving, forever family.

    Name: Ted

    Breed: Jack Russell Terrier

    Sex: Male

    Age: 2 years 1 month

    Site: London

    Reference: 359079

Ted is a bouncy young boy who has a great love for tennis balls. He’d chase them all day long if he was allowed, so a new owner willing to get involved in playtime is high on Ted’s list of priorities.

Ted does have an insecure side though, so an experienced dog owner who is able to build his confidence is also a must.

Ted is looking forward to living in a quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

He needs an adults only home, but gains confidence from being around other dogs and would love to share a home with one.

To meet Ted, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
