    Shelter Dog Wednesday - Willow

NewsShelter Dog WednesdayMonday 18 December 2017

Every Wednesday we run a special feature on a rescue dog looking for a loving home. This week, the spotlight is on Willow, an adorable Old English Sheepdog who dreams of playing and running across a countryside in a forever home.

Battersea Dogs and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Willow, a stunning girl in need of a loving, forever family.

    Name: Willow

    Breed: Old English Sheepdog

    Sex: Female

    Age: 4 years 2 months

    Centre: London

    Reference: 360742

Willow, the Old English Sheepdog with the most beautiful eyes you’ll ever see!

Willow came to Battersea with a colourful history. Willow loves attention from her favourite people, and with the right guidance and training she will be the most faithful and loving companion you could ever want.

At the Home she has been incredibly sound sensitive and shut down, she will need a calm adult only household.

She would have the best chance to succeed in a countryside home away from the stresses of the city.

Willow is looking for people experienced with working/herding breeds who will know how to help her blossom.

To meet Willow, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
