Pups rehoming from 22/12/18
Here we have 4 lovely border collie puppies, 3 girls, by rehome time pups will know what the word NO means, they will be pretty much toilet trained, will come when called by name, the 3 most important things, and they will be very playful and enjoy cuddles. Puppies are now sleeping in the kennel at night, last night was their first night without mum, 11/12/2018 and there was no pee or poo in the kennel, they all did their pee and poo when I opened the door in the morning, so that was very well done for puppies, this is the first litter that was crying to get out to pee and poo, from 4 weeks old, only one pup in the past did that and that was 4 years ago, there has been many litters since, the other pups did they pee and poo during the night, until 7 weeks old and never let me know when they needed out, so these pups are well advanced. Last photo taken today 11/12 of them waiting for their food.
Deposit is £100, paid when you view the puppies.
Do your thinking before you come to see the pups, too many pups get rehomed, due to people not thinking before getting the dog
It is not wise to get a puppy that is older than 16 weeks as they would bonded for life with the original owners, pups should be rehomed around 8 weeks old, which is why I list mine at around 3 weeks old so people can view the pups and make sure its a collie they want and is right for their circumstances.
The puppies have names already so they can be trained better, also so things like hearing can be tested.
Photos are 3 Chloe, 4 Macy, 5 Mia, 6 Shelly
Mum is Mollie, , my beautiful girl, she is a very loving doggy and very friendly with people, she is the first of my 5 and I love her to bits, she is a good mum to her puppies. Mollie is short haired. Mollie is 4 years old.
Dad is Chewie, , he is long haired. Chewie is very much in the vein of a sheep dog, its in his nature, he loves to play , he would play all the time if he could, but he learns quickly and does as he is told, most of the time. And as you can see Chewie is my handsome little boy. Chewie is 4 years .
With all the breeds and mixed breeds out there, big and small, why do you want a Border Collie?
One of the most active dogs needs an owner/Alfa who is highly active, so if your slowing down in your old age, have a hectic life, young children to look after or not much of a walker asking the above question is important.
Border Collies are wonderful dogs, but don't confuse them as just great family pets, if you give the stimulation needed they are great family pets, if you don't then they can be a nightmare, as they will find ways to stimulate themselves.
Its as much about whether you are right for the dog as the dog is right for you, as once you have a Border Collie, or any dog really, it is yours and you are theirs.
So I will ask many questions of anyone wanting one of my puppies, if you don't want the questions then go buy from a farm, where the dogs are products and the breeders don't really care what happens to the products once they have their money; my dogs are not products, I care very much for them and for their futures.
So if you cant or don't want to view the puppies and their mum and dad before buying a pup, try somewhere else, as its very important for you to see them and for me to see you with them.
As to choosing which pup you will have, that will now be as much down to me as it will be down to you, I know the personality of the pups and the sort of home and family each will need, so if you are just wanting the cutest one try a puppy farm; I say this as I have previously allowed pups to go to homes I was thinking might not be right, as I did not want to let the people down, but I was letting the puppy down and I wont do that again; I love all these puppies and I want them to have great fun filled, lovely food filled and love filled lives.
Mollie has been well fed and was well rested for the two weeks before due date.
But there is never any certainty of great health and long life where pups are concerned, as there is not with any living, breathing creature.
But I would never knowingly let a ill pup be rehomed, I know how I would feel if being sold a sick puppy.
Any question, please feel free to ask. I will need to speak to you on the phone before you come and view the puppies, so include a phone number when you email me.
If you change the mind after paying the deposit I cant give the deposit back after the pup has been taken out of the ads, that will be done after 24 hours, you are reserving a pup, so I cant sell the pup to other people, obviously that means I can lose out on getting a good home for the pup for weeks,
