We have four AKC registered miniature dachshunds. 1 Cream Male 1 Cream Female 1 Red Female 1 Red Male with brown accents Puppies will come with AKC paperwork, shots and dewormings. Puppies were born on June 13 and will be ready to go home on August 10th. Health care - Its is recommend to keep your puppy in a secure and safe environment such as a puppy pen or other enclosure. - It is not recommended to keep your puppy on high elevations like sofas and beds without a safe way for them to get down. Dachshunds have short legs and a very long body, jumping from big heights could potentially displace intervertebral discs. - It is important to ensure that your dog’s weight does not exceed the weight corresponding to its size. - It is recommended that your puppy does not attempt to go up and down the stairs until the age of nine months. - It is recommended to feed your puppy at the age of 2-4 months, four times per day. At age 4-7 months, three times a day. - Dogs nails should be short, they should be trimmed regularly. - It is very important to take your puppy to the vet, and to maintain appropriate vaccinations (such as distemper/parvo) especially within the first year.
