German Shepherd Bitch 20 months old

Has had a wisdom panel DNA test, 100% German shepherd. Very healthy and up to date with vaccinations.

Not spayed/neutered.

Not to go to a house with children. We have 3 kids and she is absolutely fine with them but that's because she grew up around them. She is nervous and will bark at strangers so I wouldn't want to risk anything with new children.

She has lived with our cat, who is very timid and doesn't stick up for herself. She likes to chase if she has the chance but she is fine with the cat otherwise and they will rub up against each other when the cat is having her dinner etc.

She did guard her food when we first got her but she seems to be ok with this now and will behave and do a trick or two for a treat.

She seems ok with other dogs, can be a bit boisterous but not aggressive. If you pull her away from another dog she can bark with excitement. We walk her on a halti as she is strong on the lead.

She needs a strong firm owner who has possibly worked with this breed before and knows what they're doing.

I think she could make a great dog she just needs the right person for her. Unfortunately we are not right for her. My partner takes care of her and he also has to take care of the 3 kids and me as my health is getting worse and I need more help daily.

As I have said before, she is nervous, to the point that she barks at anyone that comes into the house. When our children have a friend over I lock her in the downstairs toilet as I don't want to risk anything. I've never let her get close to anyone who comes into the house so I have no idea how she will react. I have a muzzle which I have used for vet trips etc.

Apart from her being nervous she is a lovely girl, albeit a little naughty, she loves to chew etc, typical German Shepherd really, likes to dig, play, follow you everywhere, is very loyal and loving. She is fully toilet trained and crate trained.
